Delegate Guidelines — GastroenterologyUCG 2026
Welcome to the 16th World Gastroenterology, IBD & Hepatology Conference & Exhibition. To ensure you have a smooth, productive, and enjoyable experience, please review the following guidelines carefully before and during the event.
1. Registration & Confirmation
- - All delegates must complete their registration online prior to arrival.
- - Bring a copy of your registration confirmation (printed or digital) to onsite check‑in.
- - On arrival, delegates should visit the registration desk to receive their delegate badge, conference kit, and program materials.
- - Registration confirms access to all scientific sessions, panel discussions, exhibition areas, networking events, and digital program materials.
2. Delegate Information Submission
After registration, delegates may be required to submit:
✔ Full name (as it should appear on the badge)
✔ Professional affiliation and designation
✔ Contact information and nationality
✔ Profile photo (for badge printing / delegate list inclusion)
This information ensures inclusion in official delegate directories and session documentation.
3. Conference Attendance & Participation
Delegates are encouraged to:
- - Attend keynote lectures, plenary talks, and panel sessions throughout the conference.
- - Engage actively in question & answer sessions, discussions, and workshops.
- - Visit the exhibition area to explore products, services, and innovations in gastroenterology.
- - Network with peers, speakers, and industry professionals during breaks and designated networking slots.
Note: For hybrid/virtual participation (if offered), ensure stable internet connectivity and access credentials are tested before the event begins.
4. Delegate Conduct & Dress Code
- - Maintain a professional and respectful demeanor during all sessions and activities.
- - Business or business‑casual attire is recommended throughout the conference.
- - Delegates should switch mobile phones to silent mode during sessions to avoid disruptions.
Conference Program & Updates
- - The scientific program will include a mix of lectures, oral/poster presentations, panel discussions, and workshops.
- - Delegates should access the official conference app or digital program for real‑time updates.
- - Session schedules and room assignments are subject to change; delegates will be notified of any updates.
6. Certificates & CME/CPD Credits
- - Delegates attending the conference will receive a certificate of participation.
- - Important: CME/CPD credits are not included in the standard delegate registration fee. If delegates wish to receive official CME/CPD credits, they must pay an additional fee.
- - Certificates (with or without CME/CPD credits) can usually be collected onsite or downloaded after the event concludes.
7. Health & Safety Guidelines
- - Follow all venue safety protocols, including emergency procedures and public health guidelines.
- - If attending in person, ensure you carry valid ID and comply with local travel requirements.
- - Delegates attending from abroad should check visa requirements and apply well in advance.
